Summer Updates

The Highlander's PrizeHello everyone!

Summer has arrived! I’m writing a fourth installment to the Highlanders. This one will feature Sear MacLeod, you might recall him from THE TROUBLE WITH HIGHLANDERS. It’s also going to feature Nareen Grant, whom you met in THE HIGHLANDER’S PRIZE.

How to Handle a HighlanderComing at you in November is HOW TO HANDLE A HIGHLANDER. This is Gahan Sutherland. I will be attending Lora Leigh’s Reader Appreciation Weekend, RAW. This is a very fair priced event, so check it out.

I have a new Highlander saga on my editor’s desk. I’ll let you know when I hear about that. Also, in Spring I will be launching a set of very erotic titles under my ‘Dawn Ryder’ pen name. She’s my naughty inner child.

Dream ShadowMy very first book, DREAM SHADOW has rereleased. It’s been given some polish and I am excited to say there will be new titles coming your way.

I have just discovered you and am fascinated with your Highlander Series. I found you with the offer of a free read from BookBub. My lucky day.
I am curious though. Do you have any plans to feature a book about Laird Robt. Chattan and Ruth Hay ? I feel they are not finished. Also, I’m interested in what might happen with a union between the Hay daughter, Erlina and Roan McLeod. Any thoughts?
My favorite book has been Highland Heat. It sizzles!
Thank you for vivid imagination and the ability to harness it and share it with others.

Thank you so much! At this time, I’m not contracted to do any further books in my first Highlander saga. That’s only because I’m busy writing other Highlander books!
      I adored Highland Heat too!
Thank you for taking the time to email me. It really makes my day.

I’d love to go back and write those books. Publishers tend to buy in three book deals. They then wait, to see if the readers like the story line. In my case, my publisher decided to put me to work on another saga, the Sutherlands. That’s why you haven’t seen anymore of the Chattans but I’d love to get back to them.

      Thanks for dropping by!

    Hi Mary,
I have recently discovered your writing and I am a fan!
I have to agree with the post left by Terry Evans, I would love to read a book involving Roan McLeod, it feels like he has a story to tell and that things are unfinished in that Highlander world.
Thank you for your writing, it really is a fun and entertaining world to escape into. Oh and thank you for Quinton Cameron as well, by far my favourite Highlander so far 😉

A question about A Captain Can Never Be Too Bold. When I go to it on fantasticfiction ( and go to the amazon link to the book it links to Captain and a Corset. Are these two different books?

Just purchased dream shadow for kindle. I have read these books when they were published by ellora’s cave. Will you have more from this series especially about Grace and Brice’s children? Keep up the great work.

I just re-read Evolution’s Embers, and I love this book! Any plans to continue the series or write a follow up? I can, and will be re-reading this one again. Great writing, and though it was written several years ago, its still a great book!
